Behold, the 4 Companies that Imported Bad Fuel into Nigeria!

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited, on 9 February, named the four companies involved in the importation of methanol laden petrol into Nigeria. MRS, shipped into Nigeria the fuel with the vessel MT Bow Pioneer. Emadeb/Hyde/AY Maikifi/Brittania-U Consortium brought its consignment with MT Tom Hilde. Oando also loaded the bad fuel on MT Elka Apollon, while Duke Oil lifted it with the tanker, MT Nord Gainer. The four shipped in the fuel from LITASCO Terminal in Antwerp, Belgium.

This is contained in a statement signed by Garba Deen Muhammad, Group General Manager Group Public Affairs Division, NNPC, on 9 February.

NNPC has reassured Nigerians of its capacity to restore sanity in the supply and distribution of quality Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) also known as petrol across the country within a short period.

The Chief Executive Officer/ Group Managing Director of NNPC, Mallam Mele Kyari pledged at the end of a meeting with some oil marketers to resolve the issues generated by the recent supply and discharge of methanol blended petrol in some Nigerian depots.

Kyari emphasized that defaulting suppliers had been put on notice for remedial actions and NNPC is working with the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Regulatory Authority (NMDRA) to take necessary actions in line with subsisting regulations.

Providing a graphic chronicle of the unfortunate incident, the NNPC CEO said that on 20th January 2022, the company received a report from its quality inspector on the presence of emulsion particles in PMS cargoes shipped to Nigeria from Antwerp-Belgium.

He explained that NNPC “investigation revealed the presence of Methanol in four PMS cargoes imported by the following Direct-Sale-Direct-Purchase (DSDP) suppliers as listed in the table below.

Importer Vessel Name Load Port

1 MRS — MT Bow Pioneer — LITASCO Terminal, Antwerp-Belgium“

2 Emadeb/Hyde/AY Maikifi/Brittania-U Consortium —- MT Tom Hilde —- LITASCO Terminal, Antwerp-Belgium“

3 Oando — MT Elka Apollon — LITASCO Terminal, Antwerp-Belgium

4 Duke Oil —– MT Nord Gainer —-LITASCO Terminal, Antwerp-Belgium”

He noted that cargoes quality certificates issued at load port (Antwerp-Belgium) by AmSpec Belgium indicated that the gasoline complied with Nigerian Specification.

“The NNPC quality inspectors including GMO, SGS, GeoChem and G&G conducted tests before discharge also showed that the gasoline met Nigerian specification,’’ he said.

Kyari noted that as a standard practice for all PMS imports to Nigeria, the said cargoes were equally certified by an inspection agent appointed by the NMDRA.

“It is important to note that the usual quality inspection protocol employed in both the load port in Belgium and our discharge ports in Nigeria do not include the test for Percent methanol content and therefore the additive was not detected by our quality inspectors’’ he stated.

However, to prevent the distribution of the petrol, the NNPC CEO said the company promptly ordered the quarantine of all un-evacuated volumes and the holding back of all the affected products in transit (both truck & marine).

The All Progressive congress (APC) is in the lookout for a very strong, viable and influential person who can face the opposition party People Democratic party (PDP) in 2023 presidential seat.

The participations of certain chieftains of the APC will make it unprecedentedly difficult for The former Lagos state governor Bola Tinubu to clinch the ticket of the party. He is determined to take over from the incumbent president Muhammadu Buhari.

Below a list of 2 Most Influential Politicians Who May Defeat Tinubu In 2023 APC Presidential ticket.

Yahaya Bello Kogi State governor

Yahaya Bello is a young politician who now aspires to take over from President Muhammadu Buhari. The Kogi State governor has indicated that he would contest for the ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and he has argued against the zoning formula. He can enjoy the support of the APC based on these reasons.

Yahaya bello performance as Governor in kogi state and his age.

At 46, Bello is the Youngest Serving Governor in Nigeria. The Civil Servant and Businessman turned Politician came into limelight after he emerged as Governor of Kogi State in January 2016.

Governor Yahaya Bello has already won many Nigerian heart for the role he played during the covid-19 situation even before his revealed his ambition for 2023 general election recently.

Yahaya Bello will be a very big challenge for any candidate from opposition party if APC decides to give him Presidential ticket in 2023 election.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo

Another influential APC politician who could defeat Bola Ahmed for All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential ticket in 2023 is vice president Yemi Osinbajo.

If vice president Yemi Osinbajo decides to take part in the struggle for the ticket of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Ahmed Tinubu would be stopped almost immediately. The vice president has several opportunities over the national of the APC (Bola Tinubu) as far as the issue of APC ticket is concerned.

The incumbent president would want his legacies to continue and since the vice president, Osinbajo, is a part of the story of the administration of Buhari, the president may just have to throw his weight behind his vice, Osinbajo. And if the president queues behind Osinbajo, several top politicians would do the same. Hence, the support of the president is enough the vice president to defeat the former Lagos state governor Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Seven Things That Every Man Should Stop Doing If He Wants To Live Longer

Living longer is typically related with having a healthy lifestyle and avoiding life-threatening behaviors, according to GPR magazine. If followed carefully, there are certain easy behaviors that can help you live an extra 12 to 14 years. Here are seven ways to extend your life.

1. Consume fewer processed meals.

Processed foods are higher in sodium, saturated fat, sugar, and fiber than natural foods. Because they don’t contain any toxic compounds, high-fiber meals have been linked to a longer lifetime.

2. Give up smoking and drinking.

Tobacco usage continues to be the biggest preventable cause of death. If you are exposed to smoking, whether actively or passively, you could lose a decade of your life. It has an effect on the respiratory and neurological systems, making therapy expensive and often impossible. Alcoholic beverages include a hazardous substance that harms the kidneys and liver. Because of poor mental judgment, a person may create fatal accidents.

3. Take a step out of your seat.

Three years can be added to your life by doing 15 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise three times a day. People with health concerns such as heart disease can also live longer since blood, nutrients, and oxygen are distributed evenly. It boosts the body’s immunological system.

Stop being so private.

Poor relationships make you unhappy, increasing your risk of depression and heart attacks. Allowing fear to prevent you from adopting a healthy lifestyle is unproductive in the long term since it may result in mental health issues.

5. Quit robbing yourself of a good night’s sleep.

If you sleep for less than 6 hours per day or more than 9 hours per day, you’re more likely to die. Stress, sadness, and heart disease are all less probable in people who get enough sleep. Sleep allows the body to regenerate new tissues and replenish wasted energy, which helps to keep disease at bay.

6. Excessive anxiety

Stress damages our bodies and shortens our lives by releasing damaging hormones and chemicals. Relaxing and meditation can help to alleviate anxiety and tension.

7. Don’t put all your hopes in your genes.

Men should stop estimating their life expectancy solely on their ancestors’ health. Diet, exercise, stress, and social ties all have an impact on longevity. Individual care is the sole determinant of lifespan.

Titling the post ‘Case against suspected killers of Timothy Adegoke has been struck out in Abuja,’ Sowore wrote on his Facebook page under the hashtag #justicefortimothy.

“Justice must be done whether they like it or not. The arraignment of Timothy’s killers will take place soon in Osun state.

“Abuja was meant to be the escape hatch but that has closed down.”

ALL Nigerians Must RESIST THIS! ! SEE What The Army Is About To Do With Over 500 Civilians

The proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra has raised an alarm over the alleged plan by the Nigerian Army to move some obigbo youths detained in Kaduna military cell to an unknown location within the northern region for possible execution.

According to TheNation, the outlaw revealed that it had received some credible intelligence that the Army authorities had already sanctioned the order adding that any attempt to execute such action would not only have grave consequences but that which the country would live to regret.

IPOB also revealed that these obigbo youths who were unlawfully arrested during the infamous massacre of Obigbo in Oyingbo Council Area of Rivers State have been held incommunicado for two years with only a few released after a successful legal battle by the IPOB legal theam.

” Our attention has been drawn to the secret instruction by the Nigerian Army to move all Obigbo youths held in the military cell in Kaduna to an unknown location in Northern Nigeria for possible execution.

” These innocent Biafrans from Obigbo have been held in different detention facilities under inhuman conditions since two years they were unlawfully arrested during the infamous Obigbo massacre in 2020 at the heat of the #EndSARS protest because of their hatred against the Igbo Nation in Nigeria.

” We are aware that over 500 innocent Biafrans were unlawfully arrested by the military and evacuated to different secret cells in Abuja and Kaduna Army cells. With great efforts by our legal teams, some of them were released since last year but many are still in custody since two years for committing no crime but being Igbo. ” – a statement from IPOB Media and Publicity Director reads

” IPOB Intelligence unit has also intercepted secret instruction by the Nigeria Army high command to move the remaining detainees to unknown locations for possible execution and extra- judicial killing.

” It is only the authorities of the Nigeria Army that knows what that order and instruction mean, but any attempt to execute or extra- judicially kill them, the Nigeria Army and Fulani controlled Federal Government will regret their actions. Such barbarity will be costly and a blunder NIGERIA will ever live to regret” it added

” We, therefore, want to place the world on notice over this wicked plot by the Fulani dominated Nigeria Army and government plots to silence innocent Biafrans without a trace. These victims have been detained incommunicado in their custody for two years.

” If anything untoward happens to these innocent Biafran youths arrested illegally, the Nigeria Army should be held responsible.

” We also want to remind the Federal Government that we are monitoring them. Should anything untoward happen to these innocent Biafrans, those behind their fate will not escape judgement! ” it continued

” We demand the unconditional release of these Biafrans because many have been released by competent courts because they committed no crime and the remaining Obigbo youths still are illegally detained are not different from those set free by a competent court of Jurisdiction and must therefore be released.

” They have unjustly suffered enough and deserve to be released unconditionally, ” it concluded

BUHARI IN TROUBLE As Over 400 Ethnic Groups Break Silence On Continuous Killings In Nigeria; See What They Said

About 400 tribes in Nigeria have asked President Muhammadu Buhari to be more Proactive in tackling the rising security problem confronting Nigeria.

The ethnic nationalities warned that Nigerian youths would not keep their arms folded watching the mass murder of the people of the country every day.

Under the auspices of the Nigerian Ethnic Nationalities Youths Leader Council, NENYLC, the ethnic nationalities stated that they had taken record of the spate of insecurity in Nigeria, which, according to them, was at an alarming level.

Terry Obirh, the President- General of the group, disclosed this at a press briefing in the FCT which had in attendance Emmanuel Zopmal, the group’ s Publicity Secretary, and Oladotun Hassan, NENYLC’ s Secretary- General.

According to the Group: ” Our stand is that the Federal Government needs to be more proactive in dealing with the growing spate of insecurity in the country as we cannot continue to witness such mindless killing of Nigerians in their numbers on a daily basis.

” The main essence and purpose of government is the protection of lives and properties but this appears to have been defeated in Nigeria. On a daily basis, Nigerians are being mowed down and roasted like chickens for no fault of theirs, except the fact that they are Nigerians.

” We say today that enough is enough and urge the security agencies to sit up. We have heard so many words without action from the government, we have had enough rehearsed condolence messages from the government, what we demand now is an end to the massacre of Nigerians under whatever guise.

” The council equally took notice of the pervasive corruption in Nigeria. We are concerned about the level of corruption in governance in Nigeria. This has to a large extent impeded development in the country, with resulting infrastructural decay across the country. The humongous annual budget of the country has not in any way translated to development.

” There are no commensurate development indices vis- a- vis the trillions of naira released every year as capital expenditure. The reason for this gap is not farfetched- it is buried in the graveyard of corruption.

” Worthy of mention is also our uncompromising position on the need for a united Nigeria, cautioned against inflammatory statements ahead of the 2023 general election.

” To this end, we urge politicians to put the interest of the country above self; they should see themselves as vehicles for national cohesion and not as agents of disunity. This is why we note with serious concern some unguarded utterances by political actors across the country,
especially with regards to the 2023 general elections.

” The Independent National Electoral Commission has a big role to play. It must give all interested parties equal opportunities in the 2023 general elections to ensure the emergence of credible leaders. ” ax
