6 Signs you will notice when you are Consuming too much carbohydrates.

Carbohydrate is a class of food that is more available compared to other classes of food. Carbohydrate is an important nutrient that helps in body building and energy giving. Bread, white rice, pasta, biscuit and cereals are examples of foods with high carbohydrate content. Consuming too much of these foods can increase your chances of getting heart problems. They are some signs you will notice when you consume too much carbohydrates.

1. You will experience more build up of cavities.

When you consume too much carbohydrates you will tend to be struggling with more cavities. This occurs because bacteria infests on the carbs on your teeth thereby increasing the amount of cavities in your teeth.

2. Your cholesterol levels will be high.

When your carbohydrate in take is high, your cholesterol levels tends to rise. The sugar present in carbohydrates spike your cholesterol levels thereby increasing your chances of having stroke or heart diseases.

3.Weight gain

The high calories and sugar present in carbohydrates makes you to gain weight. When you consume too much carbs, fat will build up in your body thereby making you to gain weight.

4. Increased sugar cravings.

This is a warning sign that tells you to cut down your carbohydrate intake. When you consume too much carbohydrate, you will always feel like eating sweet foods. This occurs because your taste buds are now familiar with sugary foods.

5. You will tend to struggle with acnes.

When you keep having pimples and acnes it means that you are consuming too much carbohydrate. Try and reduce your carbohydrate intake when you have recurrent acnes.

6.Constipation

Excessive intake of carbohydrate can cause constipation to occur. Your digestive system needs an high amount of fiber to promote a proper bowel movement. When you consume carbohydrate regularly, your digestive system will find it difficult breaking down the food. This can then result in constipation and stomach pain
