Politics Nigeria on Saturday released the statement made by a northern governor, Bala Muhammed. The governor revealed that the best person who should be given a chance in 2023 to lead Nigeria is no other person than the former vice president, Atiku Abubakar.
Should Atiku Abubakar become the next president of Nigeria in the year 2023, he claimed that there would be no worry or problem for the people because he has the experience and the necessary skills to lead the people of Nigeria to greatness.
Also, he added that the PDP would do everything to come into power in 2023 as there is a clear indication that what the people want in the year 2023 is no other person than Atiku Abubakar.
Despite the clear fact that the north has been in power since the year 2015, Bala Muhammed stated that the north deserves to produce the next president of Nigeria in the year 2023 and nothing would stop Atiku Abubakar from leading the people of Nigeria. Speaking about his age, he added that Atiku Abubakar might be old but he is capable to lead Nigeria and make better policies that would favor the people of the country, irrespective of their differences.
Meanwhile, aside from Bala Muhammed, other individuals in the PDP have urged Atiku Abubakar to contest in 2023. They claimed that Atiku Abubakar has what it takes to lead Nigeria, hence, he should be supported in 2023.
Raymond Dokpesi says Atiku is the best candidate for the 2023 presidential election
In his statement in January, Raymond Dokpesi, a member of the PDP urged the people of Nigeria and the residents in the southeast to support Atiku Abubakar to become the president of Nigeria.
Should Atiku Abubakar be supported in the year 2023, he revealed that he would do one term and hand over power to the south- east in the year 2023. He said, ” As 2023 is approaching, the economy of the country has collapsed, and our children cannot find employment or good development. ”
” I would not be wrong if I said that it is very glaring that we need somebody who is a unifier, who is very sound, who has business acumen, who himself has investment and wealth of experience and wherewithal to be able to properly lead the country out of its present quagmire like Atiku. The country has never been disunited as we have it today, both on religious and ethnic lines. Our economy is in shambles. ”
” We have not borrowed as much money externally and locally as we have experienced in the last six or seven years of the APC- led federal government. What we have under the Buhari administration is a Nigeria that is flowing with the blood of our people. ”
Atiku’ s wife speaks about his presidential ambition, says it’ s his turn
In an interview with Punch News, Mrs. Titi Atiku- Abubakar, the wife of former vice president Atiku Abubakar, revealed that her husband is ready to take up the mantle of leadership in 2023 because God is in support of it.
She added that Atiku Abubakar has been into politics since his university days. She said ” When my husband was in school, he was into politics. And once you are a politician, you will continue to be a politician. Yes, he has been in politics, since the time of MKO Abiola, but it is destiny. If God said the time is not ripe, there’ s nothing one can do. ”
” You continue trying. God says we should pray without ceasing, and we shall continue to pray. If it is your heart’ s desire, you continue to pray to God and worry Him, until He gives you that thing you want. So, I cannot tell my husband not to play politics. Maybe, God has said this is the right time for him. ”
Adamawa residents declare support for Atiku Abubakar’ s presidential ambition
Daily Post reported that the people of Adamawa state had on many occasions, urged Atiku Abubakar to join the presidential race and declare his interest in to contest in 2023.
On January 15, a member of the PDP in Adamawa state, Barrister Tahir Shehu, revealed that Atiku Abubakar is the only best thing that can happen to Nigeria if he is given a chance to become president in 2023.
He said ” Former vice president, Atiku Abubakar is a Messiah who would rescue Nigeria from under- development. Adamawa State is sealed for Atiku Abubakar. He has helped people in many aspects of life. Atiku Abubakar would win the 2023 election if the PDP gives him the presidential ticket. ”
” We are ready to support him, we will back him first by getting his nomination form and then supporting him with all we have and he will win. He will become our next president. ”
Bala Muhammed finally reveals why Atiku Abubakar is qualified to be the next president of Nigeria
On Friday, Bala Muhammed stated that Atiku has a good background, qualifications, and many other things that are needed to prove that he is determined to lead.
He said ” We believe Atiku is very good and qualified. Atiku Abubakar is also a qualified candidate to lead Nigeria to come 2023. The former vice president has given so much to Nigeria, as a result, fatigue and age have overtaken him. Nigeria has never been so divided as now, so care must be observed in the buildup to the 2023 general elections in Nigeria. “
