2023 Presidency: Tinubu Makes Another Shocking Move, See Who He Went To Beg For Support

According to a report released by the Peoples Gazette, former Lagos State Governor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has made another unexpected move ahead of the 2023 presidential election in the country. According to reports, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has urged the Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, to support his 2023 presidential bid.

Tinubu seems to be the only presidential aspirant who is really prepared for the political showdown in 2023. You would recall that the former Lagos State Governor declared his intention to succeed President Buhari come 2023.

Tinubu held a closed- door meeting with Oba Adedotun Aremu as regards his presidential bid. It is believed that Bola Ahmed Tinubu went to seek the advice and blessings of the Alake of Egbaland before embarking on the most crucial political journey of his career.

Speaking to a mammoth crowd after the meeting at the palace, Tinubu made it clear that he is trying to do everything possible to ensure that he replaces President Buhari in 2023. He further stated that he is not prepared to challenge Buhari but would love to succeed him in 2023.

Tinubu said, ” I want to seek the permission of the kabiyesi. I want to seek his blessings and his prayers and seek the blessings of other chiefs. I am here to tell you (Alake) that I want your prayers and I want to inform you that I want to become the President of Nigeria.

I told the president I want to replace you and I don’ t want to offend you. I told the President that I want to step in his shoes, but not step on his toes. I told him as the number one citizen, I should start my presidential bid by informing him first, and he told me to inform the whole world, and I have done that. I will continue to tell and consult Nigerians and international partners about my presidential ambition” .

Tinubu’ s statement seems to have sparked great controversy in the Nigerian socio- political scene. Tinubu has been heavily criticised for holding a meeting with the Alake of Egbaland few weeks before the APC presidential election. Tinubu’ s recent move shows his level of confidence ahead of APC presidential primary.
