The Governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Kayode Fayemi has appointed the father in the viral video who insisted that his son must be quarantined for 14 days after the latter secretly entered Ekiti State from Lagos.
Governor Fayemi on Thursday appointed the man whose name is Mr. Adeoyem, COVID-19 Response Ambassador for Ekiti State, a statement from the government said.
“Governor Kayode Fayemi has appointed Mr. Adeoye as a #COVID19 Response Ambassador in Ekiti State. He will help to propagate the message as a member of the COVID-19 Task Force in the State,” the statement reads.
