Former President Of Nigeria's Daughter Dragged To Court For Fraud

Hajia Zainab Dakingari, a daughter of Former President of Nigeria, late Alhaji Umaru Musa Yar' adua is set to appear before an set to appear before a court in Abuja over her involvement in an alleged fraud case.


 
Hajia Zainab Dakingari who is also the wife of the former governor of Kebbi state Saidu Dakingari was sued to court to court in a 2 billion Naira fraud case involving her firm ITBAN Global Resources Limited.

It was gathered that Hajia Zainab would be appearing as a defendant in a land fraud where she was alleged to have fraudulently taken over a 1. 5hectares land in the Kado area belonging to ITBAN firm and erected buildings on the site.

Hajia Zainab was said to have Hajia Zainab Dakingari wa found wanting when it was discovered that she deliberately forged land documents belonging to ITBAN Global Resources Limited owned and used her own company, Marumza Estate Development, and purposely forged the said documents and in return started construction at a site in Abuja belonging to the ITBAN firm.

The firm (ITBAN Global Resources) filed a lawsuit against Marumza Estate Development owned by Hajia Zainab Dakingari at the Federal High Court of Justice, Maitama, Abuja. The court has already served court notice to parties involved, Although a meeting to reconcile both parties led by Senator Adamu Aleiro held at the house of the former FCT Minister in Maitama, Abuja, it ended in a deadlock as the offer presented did not satisfy the demands of the owners of the ITBAN firm.


The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, and the Federal Capital Development Agency, Sani Rabo, is also alleged to have served as a witness and the master minder behind all the fraudulent activities involving Marumza Company and the Abuja Geographic Information Systems. The case hearing is said to be on Monday, May 17.
