Lagos residents have turned out in large numbers on Monday the 4th May, 2020 after a month lockdown in Lagos, Ogun and Abuja due to the spread of COVID-19.

"And to the doctors I urge them to prepare their minds on making decisions on who to attend to" - Said Salman Duke.
While some commenters put the blame on the masses for pressuring the Government to ease the lockdown order, one Vincent Newman, a telecoms Engineer said "Don't blame the masses, blame the government. This is a government that can afford to subsidise petrol but can't provide palliatives to the majority illiterate masses to remain at home until the pandemic reaches its peak and the curve start bending. Pushing them out in harm's way is evil" - said Vincent.
In replying to Vincent's tweet Oluwaranti Okufuwa said, "What do you know? I'm a Lagosian, in Lagos right now. People complained they should be let free, and you are here complaining for Lagosians. Federal government has released us, Lagos state Government has imposed their stringent conditions for you to step out. Flaunt the rules, blame no one" - said Oluwaranti.
Vincent also added saying "This is what you get with a copy-copy government, no originality. The US is attempting to ease off the lockdown the Nigerian govt has jump already.

United states test average 250,000 people per day. Nigeria is boasting of having tested 10,000 in 2 months" - added Vincent.
We should expect increased number of confirmed cases in the states that have just eased lockdown, especially Lagos, Ogun and Abuja. And we want to believe our governments at all level are prepared for the outcome of this.
